This disease is a death sentence. It strikes without warning and causes heartache and fear to those who have it. As there isn't any cure or treatment it leaves those who have it and their loved ones and family members completely helpless. Just to watch a loved one suffer with this disease is torture, so to have this disease and know you're unable to look for hope in a possible cure is horrendous.

My mum showed strength of character, courage and bravery through every step of her fight. It breaks my heart to think of others suffering with this disease and it would be amazing if, through the help of fund raising, others can have a better quality of life  and even hope of a cure after their diagnosis.
